Marketing Materials for College Retail products

Task
PC Guardian, a B2B company, branched out with a line of retail products for the College market. This necessitated a whole new look and marketing angle.
Result
We developed design system separate from PCG’s corporate branding with color, type and illustration styles suitable for the target market. We applied this to all marketing materials and received glowing feedback from PCG and their customers.

Task
PC Guardian needed to replace their inconsistent system of product sell sheets with a more adaptable and streamline method of marketing materials.
Result
Along with a full-sized informational brochure and promotional postcard and copy writing, we developed a self-mailing folder with a set of tri-fold product brochures. Sales Reps could send potential customers only the information they needed, or provide customers with the whole offering of products and information. Because of the modular design, updates and reprint costs were lowered.

Task
Portal Publication's retail calendar line kept a careful balance between perennial best-sellers and new artist and trends. Since lines were planned over a year in advance, careful market research was essential to make the offering relevant.
Result
Not only did we bring fresh new ideas and imagery into those perennial titles, we worked closely with up-and-coming licensers, like Naughty Naughty Pets™, to bring fun and new into the mix. We also introduced an entirely new calendar format, rich with special processes, to fill out the higher end range in the line.

Task
Portal Publications required design and printing of catalogs for their refreshed product offering about a dozen times each year.
Result
We developed templates to make design consistent and efficient, with enough flexibility to make each new catalog a fresh experience. Each catalog featured hundreds of products and ranged from 20 to over 100 pages. Along with design and production, we wrote copy for each featured product.

Task
Portal needed designs to advertise their gift, décor and card products in a variety of trade publications.
Result
We designed eye-catching full-page advertisements that highlighted the playfull and sophistaced qualities of the Portal line. one of our ad designs was voted a reader favorite in the March/April 2009 issue of Greetings Etc.
